Utilising the media to promote your event, is a great way to build community awareness and support. We have included media releases for hosts and both presenting schools and audience schools.
In the past, events that have achieved the most media attention are those that include: local action, dance and drama with costumes, science experiments, research around a local issue or hero/threatened species. This means that it is vital that you find out what your presenting schools are planning with as much lead time as possible.
If your event/school receives any media coverage in the lead up to Kids Teaching Kids Week, or during the week, make sure you let Kids Teaching Kids know.
