Presenting a workshop
All presenting places have been taken. There will be 40 Kids Teaching Kids workshops – 20 for primary schools and 20 secondary schools - and 10 main stage presentations. There are plenty of other presenting opportunities for schools such as poster displays, videos, short main stage presentations and running a hands-on environmental project day activity with or without one of our partner organisations - if you have missed out on presenting a 40 minute workshop and would still like to contribute a presentation piece please let us know.
Official registration to present a workshop must be done via the Conference Registration process.
Please note: there are strict quotas at this conference for presenting (and attending) to ensure a mix of primary and secondary schools and that schools who haven’t presented before get a chance. We offer all schools who would like to present at the conference the opportunity to do so, this may be via poster, video, main stage presentation or a 40 minute Kids Teaching Kids workshop. We will speak with each school to discuss opportunities if registration for a workshop isn’t possible this year. We are especially interested in talking with schools would be interested in presenting an environmental project day hands-on activity with one of our partner organisations such as Melbourne Water.
Kids Teaching Kids Education Officer Michelle Sanders will have confirmed your presentation place at the Conference already. You are now required to complete a presentation proposal form and submit by 25 May.
