We are pleased to announce that due to popular demand, Australia Post have increased the number of $550 (inc. GST) Cluster Event and $330 (inc. GST) Teacher Relief Funding grants, which means more money for us to give directly to schools and organisations. Grant applications will be available from the 1st February 2012.
Australia Post Kids Teaching Kids Week is a free national program whereby kids can find solutions to complex environmental problems such as climate change, water, waste, conservation, energy, drought, population and pollution. School kids will perform songs, comedy, dance routines, poems, plays and experiments for their classmates to deliver their messages about the environment.
Over 12 years as an environmental ambassador and Kids Teaching Kids founder Arron Wood has inspired more than 55,000 children across Australia to learn and care for their local environment. By teaching kids respect for the environment and for each other, Kids Teaching Kids helps build students to be more resilient, have a higher self-esteem and to grow up to be better community members.
