How To Host

How to host your day/week

There are three ways of being part of this wider program without having to attend a Kids Teaching Kids Conference:

1.  You can develop a Kids Teaching Kids Workshop on a locally relevant environmental issue and deliver that to five different audiences within your school and community at any time during the year with one of those workshops to be delivered during Kids Teaching Kids Week. Audiences can include other classes, parents, community groups like Rotary and local businesses.

2. You can go one step further and host a mini Kids Teaching Kids Conference at your school during Kids Teaching Kids Week. This can be as small (a number of classes within your school presenting to each other) or as big (a number of schools in your region coming together to present to each other) as you like.  We will provide advice and support on how to run your event.

3. You may have an existing student led event that is already scheduled for a date that is outside of Kids Teaching Kids Week, but providing you are willing to include a component using the Kids Teaching Kids method then you can classify your event as part of the Kids Teaching Kids Program and qualify to receive support and advice on how to enhance your event. You will also receive national recognition.
