This program is about promoting Kids Teaching Kids as an effective form of learning for a cultural change in the way we view, use and perceive our marine and coastal natural environment and resources.

Years 5 – 11 students and teachers from across the world

Cost

$120 (without accommodation) or $230 (including three nights accommodation) Inc GST for each delegate.

Cost includes entry to the 3 day program, all meals, conference gala dinner, welcome and closing functions, travel during the event, hands on environmental projects day and interactive Kids Teaching Kids workshops and main stage presentations. Fee also includes resource materials and access to the Kids Teaching Kids education officer and mentors to assist presenting schools in the lead up to the Conference to use the Kids Teaching Kids methodology.

Important Information for Schools

  • Registrations are open for school students in years 5 – 11 and teachers from across Australia and the world
  • Schools can register a maximum of 2 teachers and 10 students
  • Schools can also register to present one of the 18 Kids Teaching Kids workshops or a main stage presentation at the Conference, on a local marine or coastal issue
  • A quota system and delegate limits per school will ensure a diversity of  primary and secondary schools from across Australia can attend
  • Registrations close July 30th
